Growing up in North Vancouver, my life was dedicated to sports from an early age. After being involved in basketball, soccer, and baseball, my strength in soccer emerged and I began to pursue my dream of becoming a professional soccer player. I worked through the levels, each presenting different challenges and opportunities, pushing myself harder and harder as I progressed.

In 2017, after representing team BC as the captain, I was selected to join the Vancouver Whitecaps Residency program where I was given the opportunity to train and play with the top players from across Canada. My dream was starting to come alive and I was ready to soak in the experience and work harder than ever. During the process, I was exposed to the reality of the sports landscape. Players were dropping out of sport or not reaching their true potential. Why? Because the love of the game and joy of the process was replaced by the pressure to win at all costs. Players were having negative experiences in games, practices, and at home. With my own passion for the game being burnt out, I turned to coaching.

Through running my own training sessions, I saw just how much of an impact a coach can have on a young kid. I am not interested in developing superstars or focusing on a single sport pathway. My interest is in developing confident, competent athletes and humans. Through these training sessions, I watched kids blossom and fall in love with sport.

And now, I want to be able to help millions of kids unlock their true potential through sport.
